FX MULTIPLA transplanter

The FX-MULTIPLA transplanter is a machine equipped with a rotary carousel suitable for planting crops in cylindrical, conical and pyramidal sods, normal or pre-compressed. It was studied to solve problems related to the planting of lettuce and radicchio, but is suitable for planting many other vegetables as well: broccoli, celery, fennel, onions, … The only limit is represented by the plants dimension which cannot be higher than 15 cm.

The FX-MULTIPLA planting unit is equipped with a parallelogram system that floats on the ground, in order to grant a perfect adhesion even on uneven conditions. This machine is also suitable for beds and raised working surfaces.

It has also a double carousel to be fed on two rows at the same time by one single operator. The performance is extremely high, precisely up to 5,000 plants/hour/row.

The turning metal carousel is characterized by an intermittent movement that allows to increase the performance per hour, the precision of planting depth and distance in the row. These features are extremely important if we talk about lettuce and radicchio, where the uniformity means quality and competitiveness.

FX MULTIPLA is equipped with an articulated kicker in the ploughshare, that allows to obtain a double result: increase the productivity per hour and keep the ploughshare clean, preventing an accumulation of soil that would lower the quality of planting.
